Automatic Dual-Sided Printing

The SMART-51D automatically prints on both sides of the card, eliminating the need to manually turn cards over between printing operations. This is particularly useful when important information needs to be distributed across the front and reverse of an ID card.

Full-Colour and Monochrome Printing

The printer supports colour and monochrome card printing. IDP specifies speeds of up to 212 cards per hour with YMCKO, 164 cards per hour with YMCKOK dual-sided colour printing, and 720 cards per hour with monochrome printing. Actual production speed depends on the card design, ribbon and printing conditions.

300 dpi Colour Printing

The SMART-51D provides 300 dpi colour and monochrome printing, with 600 dpi and 1200 dpi modes available for monochrome printing. This supports detailed card layouts containing photographs, logos, text, identification numbers and other card information.

Edge-to-Edge Printing
